The various exercises that I’m going to prescribe are already known by many people. And use of these exercises will help to get rid from eye problems.
These all exercises will help in strengthening the eye muscles as well as improving the Eyesight.
1. Palming
Or you may sit down and putting your elbows on the knees.
Rubbing your hands together until they feel warm. And subsequently, close your eyes.
Close your eyes and cover them lightly with your palms. Note that your palms do not put any pressure on the eyeballs.
Your nose should not be covered.
Make sure no gaps between your fingers or the edges of your palms and nose also light rays can’t enter your eyes.
Imagine the deep blackness and focus on the blackness. Take deep breaths slowly-slowly and evenly while only thinking the moment of happiness. After you see nothing or may see blackness only, then remove your palms. Repeat this step 5 minutes or more.
Avoid applying pressure to your eyeballs.
You can use this exercise 3 times daily.
Note that when palming in the light areas, it should caution that the light rays cannot enter your eyes.
2. Blinking
Blink your eyes with gap of 4 to 5 seconds or may blink the eyes continuously at least 2 minutes.
The computer users (workers) as well as television watchers should use this exercise to relax their eyes.
Blink 15 times rapidly. Don’t pressure on eyes.
Repeat this exercise 2 times daily.
3. The Figure Of Eight Method
This is a best and amazing method for the eye muscles and this exercise is like as a game. Also to use of this exercise, increase the natural flexibility of your eyes. This exercise very simple, but very effective.So, we are discussing about how to do figure eight method step by step:-
- Firstly put a chair 10 feet away from a wall.
- After that imagine a big figure of eight, imagine that figure of eight is horizontal (as in diagram) on the wall in front of you.
- The next step is to slowly trace the figure of eight with your eyes. And you may trace from right to left or left to right. or you may start from the middle.
- It doesn't matter in which direction you will choose to trace the figure first, it’s your choice.
- Note that, do this procedure slowly and do this with your eyes only. Remember that not move your head when tracing the figure.
Once you complete tracing from one side then you can relax your eyes for a few seconds and trace it from the opposite direction.
Do this exercise 4 to 5 times in a day.
When tracing don’t move your head.
4. Two Dot Vision Exercise
This is recommended for those, who work on a computer regularly or watched television for more time.
The Two Dots vision exercise is a great exercise to use to achieve just that. This vision exercise will help strengthen the muscles of your eyes and also dose relax your eyes. The exercise is very simple and easy to perform.
So, how to perform this method step by step:-
Firstly put a chair 10 feet away from a wall and sit on it.
Imagine two dots on the wall, that is approximately half or one meter away from each other.
If you are not imagining the dots then you can take medium sized of circles and affixed to the wall.
Look at one of the dots for a few seconds then slowly-slowly move to another dot. Look at it for a few seconds and move your eyes for the first dot as shown in the picture.
Repeat this procedure at least 3 minutes, after that close your eyes and relax.
The Two Dots vision exercise can be done several times a day.
When tracing the dots don’t move your head.
5. Eye Closing Method
This method is simple but influential for improving the eyesight and also relax your eyes from this method.
Now, we would discuss about how to perform this method:-
Firstly close your eyes tightly for 4 to 6 seconds. After that open them for 4 to 6 seconds. Repeat this procedure 10 times in a day.
6. Eyes Massage Method
In the eye massage technique, this is divided into types as:-
Eye and Face Massage: In this massage techniques use this procedure for improving the vision. the method is:- First soak a towel in warm water. After, rub your neck with a towel. Also rub forehead and cheeks with the towel but don’t rub on the eyes. Then, use your fingers to gently massage on forehead and around the eyes. When using this fingering procedure keep close your eyes.
Eyelid Massage: In this method, first sit comfortably on a chair, close your eyes and relax your body. After that, massage your eyes with circular movements from your fingers for 2 minutes. Make sure you press lightly and don’t pressure over eyes.
This massage technique is influential for improving the blood circulation in your eyes.
7. Eyes Stretching
The procedure of eyes stretching method is:-
Very first sit comfortably and relax then imagine that your face is a clock. So, then think that 12’o clock is your forehead, 6’o clock is your chin and 3’o and 9’o clocks are both cheeks.
After it, roll your eyes clockwise for 1 minute, then counter-clockwise. Repeat this procedure 3 times and rests your eyes after one round is complete.
Do this exercise 10 minutes in a day.
8. Near-Far Focusing Technique
This exercise most preferred and powerful exercises for the eyes and it can be done easily at anywhere. The step by step procedure for this method is:-
Very first sit comfortably and relax your body.
Take a pencil or pen and keep ten inches distance in the front of you and try to focus on it.
After that, try to focus on anything else which is ten to twenty feet away from you.
Repeat this procedure at least 3 to 5 minutes and twice in a day.
9. Another Near-far Method
In this method you can print two paper one is small and another is big in size as shown in the picture. Then pin the big paper on the wall. After that, sit comfortably on a chair and make distance at least 10 feet or as you can see the paper properly. Also hang a wall calendar or another chart as same as this on one of your walls as same distance.
After that take the smaller size paper and concentrate on the number one. After some time, when you see the number clear, then you can move the paper back. After that keep focusing on big paper on the wall and concentrate focus until you see the number clearly.
Now, again see another number on small paper and repeating this procedure at least 5 to 10 minutes.
This exercise is helping to improving the eye vision.
10. Zooming Method
With this exercise you may get rid from presbyopia. Nowadays presbyopia is one of the common eye disorders and many people in the world are suffering from it. in this disease reduced the focus of eyes and lack of vision.
Step by step procedure of this method:-
Very first sit comfortably and relax your body.
Stretch your arm with your thumb in front of your eyes and focus on the thumb.
After some time moving closer the arm and also your thumb closer to you. This is done slowly and keeps the focus on the thumb.
Bring the thumb closer to eyes and keep few second, and start moving away from your eyes.
Repeat this procedure at least 5 minutes and twice in a day.
11. Up-down and Left-Right Moments Method
As shown in the pictures you can easily perform this exercise, and also follow the instructions as:-
Sit comfortably and relax your body. After that, you should move the eyeballs from up to down, starting from up to down then bringing movements from down to up and do this procedure at least 10 times.
After that, do the side to side eye movements, this procedure starting from left to right. And then right to left. Also do this at least 10 times.
12. Special Stretching Exercise
In this method you can Sit comfortably on a chair and relax your body. After that tracing the figure 1 or 2 as your choice. Note that, trace slowly and do this at least 3 to 5 minutes or 1 time in a day.
These all the exercises are excellent and amazing. if you have any problem or disease related to eyes then don’t worry about it. So, avoid the stress and try these exercises and should walk barefoot on grass in the early morning. I have full confidence that these exercises will definitely beneficial for you.
