In last 10 years, there are Breast cancer cases are increased by 30% because more than 80% patients consultants to doctor after 3rd or 4th stage of cancer. 

 We just completed Breast cancer awareness month (October), So today I want to write about some awareness to prevent Breast cancer. 

Risk of Breast cancer generally increases after 40 years. 

But it can be prevented by some self examinations and Mammogram tests.

Family history of Breast cancer increase the risk  more, but according to most of Indian oncologist, more than 85% cases in India haven't any family history, so that is why awareness is important in this case.            

When you should be Alert? 

Due to Breast cancer there are some initial change occurs in Breast like.... 

• 
  Lymphoma (tumar) in Breast
• Change in the shape or Color of nipple
• Hardness in Breast
• Bleeding
• Pain in Breast
• Node below the shoulder etc.. 

But note that, All tumar in the Breast may not be a cancer Tumar but it can be a cancer Tumar in future so instant check up is necessary so that it can be cured at right time.

Causes 

• Excessive intake of medicines for hormonal therapies. 
• Baby planning at old age (after 40) 
• Excessive intake of alcohol
• Poor lifestyle
• Genetic causes in few cases

Some worst   habits which increases the risk of Breast cancer :-

1. Obesity :-

Excessive obesity of women can be a reason of Breast cancer. 

Mainly after Menopause, risk is increased by 80% more because of lower level of estrogen in the body. 

2. Never use of Brest for breastfeeding :-

Major chunk of women never uses (or uses sometimes only) their Breast for breastfeeding for maintain their figure. 

But actually it's a big mistake, because it Increases the risk of Breast cancer. 

Due to breastfeeding, female hormones can functions properly, otherwise hormones can not functions properly and imbalance is occurs, which may leads to Breast cancer. 

3. Improper Diet :-

Improper diet can be reason of Breast cancer because processed foods and excessive oily food helps to grow carcinogenic cells in your body. 

So, one should not eat excessive sweets, sugar, ketchup, sports drinks, chocolate milk, chat, burger, fries or any other processed foods because it helps to grow cancer cells in Brest region which leads to high risk of Breast cancer. 

4. Taking contraceptive drugs for long time

Long time intake of contraceptive drugs increases the risk of Breast cancer 50% more. 

Some times birth control injections also can be reason of Breast cancer. 

Because all these drugs, increases the level of estrogen in the body which leads to Breast cancer. 

5. Excessive use of plastic :-

Plastic containers and bottles are reacts with our foods or drinks and releases endocrine disrupting chemicals in it which is harmful for our endocrine system and leads to hormonal imbalance. 

6. Ignore exercise:-

After menopause, exercise in female is very necessary factor for maintain the body fat and hormonal balance. 

If you don't like heavy exercise then you can choice other options like walking for 30 minutes daily, swimming, gardening etc.. Which helps to decrease the obesity and risk of Breast cancer. 

7. Alcohol and smocking

According to WHO, risk of Breast cancer increased by 8% in people who are addicted to alcohol or smocking.

Even It can also helps to grow the tumer in Breast Region according to the Report of journal of the American medical Association.
